These earrings are derived from the basic Spiral Wave Earrings. The frame is fused and hammered Argentium silver. Long lengths of 14 kt. gold-fill wire was used to weave a second piece of silver wire onto the frame, after which the layered spirals were formed by hand.
When I created this design, the shape suggested motion, and "comet" felt like the right name! These earrings are over 3 inches long and are one of a kind.
