The soumak weave is worked over three short pieces of silver, of the which the middle piece is also the ear wire. Like their larger cousins, these earrings are rather stationary in your ear, and are even lighter in weight. I make several varieties: gold, bright Argentium silver, oxidized fine silver, and different combinations of gold and silver.
